Freshly cooked breakfasts are served in our newly refurbished, traditional country breakfast room using local free-range bacon and Cumberland sausages from High Bankside Farm at Cartmel, free-range local eggs and delicious local bread from Grange Bakery.

Cafetieres of Fair Trade coffee are served or a choice of Fair Trade breakfast tea, green tea, redbush or herbal teas.

Vegetarian options are available and lighter continental style breakfasts including fresh croissants and pain au chocolat if preferred. Packed lunches can be provided at extra cost.  Evening meals can be provided by arrangement.

Guests are welcome to eat take-away meals in our Breakfast room and to relax in the evening with a glass of wine whilst perusing the varied selection of maps and guides available to help you make the most of your stay with us.
